A QUALITY REPRODUCTION OF A PATTERN 1804 NAVAL CUTLASS WITH SCABBARD, thought to be a late 20th Century reproduction of a mid-19th Century, 29 inch plain steel blade, ricasso marked with queen's crown and 'V. R.' below, together with maker-mark 'MOLE', opposite side stamped with anchor, 'X' 'B' and '7', steel hilt with 'figure of eight' guard, black leather scabbard with stamped anchor and brass hook, blade, a good quality reproduction with some staining and light pitting at top of ricasso and toward the blade tip, hilt with painted 'aged' steel, scabbard folded at the tip, 36 inches overall
